Ironic really, what if the man knocking on Gaza’s door is drenched in the blood of Iraq?

And so we have it. Meet your new middleman for Gaza: Tony Blair, once the lying war-architect, now self-styled broker of futures. Critics don’t merely whisper “bad fit.” They spit “hypocrite,” “profiteer,” “liar.”

Below is the factual, recorded timeline that exposes the irony and the danger this man, Tony Blair has been and remains.

𝟏. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝: 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐪 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲

In 2003, as Prime Minister of the UK, Blair led Britain into the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, citing weapons of mass destruction. That claim was later discredited. Blair knowingly lied.

• The Chilcot Inquiry (2016) found the U.K. “decided to go to war before peaceful options had been exhausted,” and that Blair “didn’t adequately explain the evidence.” Another deception, deliberate and catastrophic.

• The Bush–Blair Memo (Jan 2003): a secret meeting revealed that Blair and Bush discussed invading Iraq even if UN inspectors found nothing, contradicting public claims about “disarmament.” Purposed deception.

• After leaving office, Blair launched Tony Blair Associates(later the Tony Blair Institute) advising states and regimes, earning millions. His millions are derived from the deaths of millions.

• He also sat on JPMorgan’s International Council, offering “geopolitical advice.” The man who helped destroy Iraq now advising on world order.

• His Institute has been active in Middle East “reform” and “governance,” partnering with Gulf and Arab regimes lecturing the region he helped destabilise. The face on irony added to grave insult!

Therefore: Blood in his past. Money in his present.

𝟐. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦: 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐳𝐚

Today, under U.S. proposals, Blair is being floated for a central role in postwar Gaza:

• A 20-point U.S. peace plan proposes a Gaza International Transitional Authority (GITA), where Blair would sit on a “Board of Peace” alongside Donald Trump. This is irony and insult in equal measure.

• Leaked drafts show GITA would oversee reconstruction, budgeting, and governance often bypassing the Palestinian Authority. Tony Blair wouldn’t know the first thing about the soul of Gaza, yet he’s raised up as “the man for the job?”

• The plan places Blair and other “experts” above local actors, technocrats imposed from outside. Imposed, the operative word.

• Critics call it a Western-controlled takeover, dressed up as “help.” Let’s call it what it is, a Western profiteering scheme, designed to milk Gaza’s agony for contracts, control, and currency.

𝟑. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐲 & 𝐑𝐞𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

• How can the same man who lied the world into Iraq become Gaza’s “peace broker?” The irony writes itself, a war criminal masquerading as a fixer.

• In the Arab world, Blair is deeply distrusted. Displaced Gazans have said: “He has the blood of Iraqis on his hands…he only brings ruin and destruction.”

• Analysts describe his reputation in the region as “black.”

• Israeli commentators call his return a double-edged sword, he “knows” the region, yes, but only through the profits of its pain.

• As Quartet Envoy (2007–2015), Blair oversaw years of failed diplomacy, stagnation, and growing Palestinian resentment. His bias toward Israel and U.S. interests was undeniable.

• The very man whose legacy is war, intervention, and deception now wants to sit above Gaza as a “neutral” mediator.
